We recently started renting this Colonial Casona that belonged to one of the hennequen haciendero families. The house was renovated in 1930 for a couple while they were on their honeymoon. Many of the art deco features still exist but Josue Ramos and I renovated the house a few years ago and just started renting it this past year for Urbano Rentals. The roof terraces wraps around the house overlooking the garden and pool. There are two pergolas for shady lunches or afternoon drinks. It´s quiet and private with no views of neighboring houses.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Off of the main entrance are the billiards room and the library. Then you come upon the front portico with the living room on one side and the blue guest room on the other. The garden is in the center of the property and the pool has a shady section under the back portico and the sunny section in the garden.
