Urbano Rentals

most of our vacation rentals are in the colonial historic center of Merida, Yucatan.

Josue Ramos Espinosa designed one of our most luxurious houses is  El Portico de la Candelaria.  Vogue calls El Portico ¨The Stunning Renovation of One of Mexico´s Most Beautiful Private Homes” in it´s review of Casa Mexico , at Home in Merida and the Yucatan .  Our oldest and most authentically colonial home is Ermita de Santa Isabel just off the park of the same name.  Casa Ermita is also featured in the new Rizzoli book by Tim Street Porter and Annie Kelly. These two houses are very popular with artists and designers.  Orangerie de Santa Ana and Casa Azul de Santiago are our favorite houses for families or friends who are traveling together.  They are both in popular neighborhoods with lots of shops, markets and restaurants. The largest house we have in town is actually two houses on one big lot and you can rent them apart or together. Mayazul with five bedrooms it is perfect for family reunions or friends attending a wedding at one of the haciendas like the one we rent near Acanceh.   Mayzaul was designed by the team of Salvador Reyes Rios and Josefina Larrain at the same time that they were building Rosas y Xocolate. Our newest rental is a large colonial casona we designed a few years ago, Villa Los Arcos de San Juan. The house was recently featured in Cabana and France AD. We were renting vacation homes in Merida before Airbnb or VRBO existed.  2021 is our 20th year in Merida.  We are the Best of Yucatan  & Urbano Rentals.
